Pundit slams Antony for 'shameless' Manchester United moment after Coventry FA Cup win

Former Premier League striker Gabby Agbonlahor has launched an attack on Manchester United star Antony following the Reds' FA Cup semi-final win over Coventry City.

Erik ten Hag's men escaped a huge embarrassment at Wembley Stadium by defeating the Championship outfit on penalties. United had stormed into a 3-0 lead but Coventry scored three times in 20 second-half minutes.

The Sky Blues had a goal ruled out in injury-time of extra-time for offside before Rasmus Hojlund scored the crucial spot-kick after Andre Onana saved from Callum O'Hare and Ben Sheaf blazed over.

After Hojlund kept United's dream of silverware alive, there was a sense of relief on the faces of Ten Hag's players after their collapse against lower league opposition. Harry Maguire went straight to the Coventry players and Bruno Fernandes hugged Casemiro, but Antony went the opposite direction.

As the Brazilian wheeled away in celebration, he was spotted cupping his ears to the Coventry players. MEN Sport's Samuel Luckhurt wrote on X: "Only thing more embarrassing than United’s performance after the 70th minute was Antony’s reaction to the shootout win when he cupped his ears at Coventry players. His social media post this morning referred to them as ‘Covertry’.

"He struggled to play at their level today."

After a clip did the rounds on social media of Antony's unsportsmanlike behaviour, Agbonlahor took to social media himself to take a swipe on the forward. "Antony cups his ears as he celebrates infront of Coventry players? Is this guy the most shameless
