Roy Keane tells Gary Neville 'you're getting kidded'

Roy Keane has insisted Arsenal cannot beat Manchester City in their crunch clash this weekend.

The Premier League's top side will take on the defending champions at the Etihad on Sunday afternoon, with the Gunners looking to open up a four-point gap to their rivals at the start of the run-in.

The game is almost identical to the same fixture last season, which saw Arsenal dealt a 4-1 loss in late April that all but put an end to their title hopes despite the club topping the table for the majority of the campaign.

Mikel Areteta's side will have high hopes of avenging that defeat this time around, with the team a year more experienced and in good form going into the game.

Keane, however, speaking on The Overlap, insisted the Gunners simply won't win the game, and clashed with co-hosts Gary Neville and Ian Wright over how he sees the game playing out.

'We're beating them,' Wright began. You know why I'm saying that? We have to beat them.'

'That doesn't mean you're going to win,' Keane responded.

'I think you have to beat them,' Neville interrupted.

'Why should I not think we can beat them?' Wright argued. 'We've got a great defensive record and we're scoring goals. Why should I now go negative on my team?'

Neville then gave his prediction, backing Arsenal, with Jill Scott questioning the view, replying: 'Arsenal are not going to win this year.'

'This is big boy stuff now,' Keane said. 'Arsenal are not winning there. Arsenal are not winning at Man City.'

When Wright challenged Keane to a bet, the former Manchester United captain offered to buy him a watch if Arsenal were victorious.

''I'm going 2-1 City,' he continued. 'Arsenal are not winning there. You're getting kidded, I'm telling you.'
