Bayern's fans could be BANNED from UCL semi after they broke UEFA pyro rules

Bayern Munich fans could be banned from attending the second leg of their Champions League semi-final tie away to Real Madrid.

As reported by BILD, Bayern supporters again broke UEFA rules regarding the use of pyrotechnics ahead of their victory over Arsenal in the second leg of the quarter-finals.

Before the game at the Allianz Arena some Bayern fans were seen letting off flares.

Bayern fans were not permitted to attend the first leg of the quarter-final tie away to Arsenal after throwing fireworks onto the pitch prior to their game against Lazio in the round of 16.

Prior to that, Bayern had been given a suspended one match ban on sales of tickets to away supporters after fans set off fireworks during a group stage game at home to Copenhagen in October.

Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen admitted that the club had to accept the ban.

Dreesen said: 'We have to accept this punishment. Not only were pyrotechnics set off, but also fired deliberately onto the field, directly endangering bystanders.

'This was such an explicit violation of the conditions of probation that an appeal is unfortunately futile.'

Despite the warning from UEFA, Bayern fans claimed that they would still be in attendance at the game in London.

During a 3-2 Bundesliga defeat away to Heidenheim, Bayern fans unveiled a banner which read: 'We're going to London anyway! Wembley calling - F*** UEFA'.

Some Bayern fans were spotted in attendance at Emirates Stadium during the first leg, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Arsenal fans took turns punching a Bayern supporter, who was ushered out of the stadium by stewards.

Bayern are set to host Real Madrid in the first leg of the semi-final clash on April 30, with the second leg to take place at The Bernabeu on May 8.
